What is a Torta?
In my family, a torta usually meant a delicately layered cake full of flavour often reserved for special occasions. What made these cakes special were the combination of flavours infused with traditional Italian liqueurs. In keeping with tradition, all of our cakes are multi-layered and lightly infused with a liqueur to enhance the flavour of the torta. It brings a special note that is not over powering but just enough to bring a subtle elevation to the torta. Below is a description of our staples but we can
produce any flavoured cake to your desire. Indicate your desired flavour when ordering.

Lemon Delicious
A light, moist lemon layered sponge with fresh lemon curd, cream, lemon zest, drizzled with limoncello and covered in toasted almonds. A delicious cake if you love something citrus and fresh.
Chocolate Bliss
When you need a chocolate fix, this torta will not disappoint. It's a chocoholic's dream! A deep rich chocolate sponge infused with espresso coffee, chocolate, cocoa, soft chocolate buttercream and drizzled with frangelico.
Raspberry Sensation
If you love raspberries and a delicate fruity flavour, then this torta is the ticket. A vanilla sponge infused with home-made raspberry coulis, fresh raspberries, cream, and drizzled with chambord. This cake can be substituted with strawberries. An equally devine alternative.
Coffee Delight
A coffee lover's favourite! This torta will not disappoint. A coffee sponge infused with high quality espresso coffee, chocolate, light coffee cream, coffee beans and drizzled with frangelico.
